 The Louisa County Ambulance Service is a non-profit consisting approximately forty local volunteers, Emergency Medical Technicians, First Responders and drivers.


Our Mission

Our purpose is to ensure that the best possible emergency care is provided to all residents and visitors in our community!


Want To Volunteer?

You must 18 years or older of age with a current driver's license.  The state requires the drivers to be CPR certified, but this will be included in your training.  If Interested contact Linda Verink.


Areas Covered

Included in our service area are the cities of Columbus Junction, Conesville, Letts and Grandview.  We provide emergency service for approximately 5,000 area residents, most of the area is rural.  We also service three townships in southern Muscatine County.
